Back from honeymoon ****UPDATED W PICS ON PG 2 and 3 & VIDEO in OP****

and wish we were still in europe. We had the most amazing time, best vacation ever. Barcelona is such a beautiful city, the food was so good and the people were all so nice. Despite the euro its actually affordable too, we were pleasantly surprised with that. Meals were not alot at all and everything in general. Monaco was gorgeous, the place is so clean and just amazing, the food was amazing but it is a bit expensive but luckily barcelona wasnt so it evened out a bit lol. Everyone was real nice there too. In monaco I had the best pasta ive ever had, best ice cream, best pastries, french fries, panini and just food in general. Its funny though because most of the people there were italian and we felt as if we were in the italian riviera instead lol. Everywhere we went there were italians all around us. Also alot of english and german tourists, and some americans, saw alot of young americans there.

Before the honeymoon DH didn't have much of an interest in going to europe. I was a bit nervous about him liking it, i kept saying once he got there i know he'll like it but still was nervous. Well even i was surprised with how much he loved it, he was saying he wanted to move to europe lol, even now he tells everyone how its so different and such a different lifestyle, alot more laid back. He even asked me if i would consider moving there for a year hahahahahaha its histerical to me. We both honestly were so sad to leave we didnt want to come home yet.

I put up alot of pics on myspace, theres 301 of them hahaha. I know some don't have myspace, so ill upload the pics on LIW another time sorry.

Hope all the rest of the may brides had amazing weddings and cant wait to see your pics

I think it's just that you're having such an amazing time so far away from all the stresses of your everday life and you're still on that love high from the wedding.

I know its so funny, i mean it always s*cks when a vacation ends but we were really sad about it ending. When i asked DH on our last night if he was sad he said he didnt even want to talk about it hahahaha.

Well i have LOTS of pics from spain for you to see. I didnt take as many in monaco bc dh kept saying ppl dont take pics there so to stop its crazy though bc the only cars you see there are ferrari's, bentleys are the 2 biggest the rolls royce, lamborghini, aston martins and those type of cars. A ferrari there is like a toyota here with how common it is. But in spain EVERYONE rides a vespa or motorcycle, its insane theres more of those than cars. You see so many women riding them and even old ladies, you see girls dressed up at night on them, men in business suits lol.

you are going to love barcelona, and the best advice i will give is to get american express travelers checks from here, get them in euro currency bc AX will give you a great rate for them, then when you get to the airport in barcelona exchange it at the airport bc you get the amount of the travelers checks they dont take commission on ax travelers checks. We only had 600 euro in AX travelers checks that we got from here, and we were told the best exchange we would get is at the exchange places on the street. But we needed some money on us to tip our driver so i exchanged $200 TC at the airport and i got 200 euro back. We went to an exchange place on the street and it was 1.97 euro to the dollar the exchange, so we only exchanged a little bit there since it was ridiculous and then went to the bank next the following monday and got it at 1.61 euro to the dollar which was the best rate around besides exchange places.

We went to so many outside cafes to eat and every single place the food was so delicious, it was never a miss everything was great.


Thanks for the advice. I will definately keep the AX checks in mind. I just hope the Euro/Dollar situation improves a bit in the next year.

You hm looked soo gorgeous and you two look like you belong in Europe, especially Joe, he fit right in! Especially the one where he is drinking coffee and smoking

lol omg he doesnt drink that much coffee here, there he was drinking 4 cups a day and he was happy bc in spain he got a flyer to learn english so he liked that they thought he was a local

He's so funny! I've never been to Europe, but I've always heard what a different lifestyle it is...so much more laid back. I'd really love to go some day.

no problem, i wish we knew ahead of time. SOme places in europe you do get a better rate at an exchange place off the street, his parents did in italy but i guess spain is different.

It would be nice if the dollar got a little bit stronger

That soo cute they thought he was a local. He really looked it though She better hurry, we're all dying to see more of your pictures. I cant imagine how excited you must be. How long before you get your video?

the kid never goes to cafe's here, doesnt drink that much coffee but there its all he wanted to do ... its funny bc in europe ppl dont drink sodas on the street or anything while they walk. Some ppl will stop at cafe's just to have a can of soda and sit for 10 mins and leave after, dh thought it was so weird but i told him its very common in europe to do that, by the middle of our trip we were doing the same thing
