Jen that looks like SUCH a great time!! I didnt even know that they did that out of NY! Can you FM me some info on it? My BFF is turning 30 next year and that might be a blast for her!!!

I'll post the info here in case anyone else is interested! It is a norwegian cruise - you go on the norwegian spirit, which is a little smaller than a regular cruise ship but still HUGE (I think this one only goes to new england, canada, etc - no caribbean, etc). It was $200pp and you get lunch and dinner the day you get there, and breakfast the next day. You can board at 1pm and you have to be off the ship by like 10:30-11:00. You can pay a little more for a few restaurants at dinner - we opted to spend $10 extra to go to the italian place, but there is also asian fusion, a steak house, etc for like $10-20 cover charge. Much better than the buffet or other places but still not great, I must say. I expected the food to be a little better.

Just a ton of fun, I never felt sick at ALL and I get sick on boats in the ocean. I had the sea bands on and also pumped my system with ginger capsules from like Thurs AM on because I've heard it does a great job of preventing seasickness if you have it IN your system before you even get on the boat. Not sure if I would have needed it, but it was better to be safe than sorry I thought.
