We'll I've been back since last Tuesday but I haven't been able to really get on until now. Excellence Punta Cana was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved everything about it!! We never left the resort because there was no need. Here are some pics and anyone who's thinking of going here....GO!!!!!

We wanted to go on excursions but the rides to and from the places are long. It took an 1 and a half just to get from the airport to the resort (granted we made other resort stops along the way...).
Tips:
1. Bring sunblock and bug spray!!!! I got bit a lot and DH got sunburned. We had both but forgot to put it on lol
2. Check out the spa specials and go! We did a couples massage and it was amazing!!!
3. Souvenir shopping. we went off the resort (10 feet practically) and there were some shops there. We went to this place called 'Nancy's' because the prices were the best and she didn't hassle you to buy anything. The other stores were good, but pushy. The resort shops are the worst!!!! Really pushy and EXPENSIVE!!!
4. Your FH will need to bring dress pants/shorts because the restaurants have dress codes.
5. you don't need to tip anyone but they are appreciated by all (especially the maids).
Loved:
the pools, the beach!! we had an ocean view double balcony room and kept the doors open at night for the ocean sounds!!
