Back from vacation!!

Back from vacation!!

Hi all. Got back this afternoon from our vacation to New England. The foliage in the northern New Hampshire was fantastic! We spent two days in a cabin in the woods which was a blast. The rest of the time we stayed in a lodge in the Mount Washington Valley.

The weather was a little on the wet side and it snowed on Thursday night but we still were able to do a lot. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

Claud LOL!! Yep the 'S' word!! But it was pretty far north and only in the mountains so don't worry.

Karen leaf peeping was fantastic. We were in the most northern part of New Hampshire or The Great North Woods region as they call it. Not much there that's for sure, but so beautiful. At night we could hear the loons in the lake in front of our cabin.

Once we got back to civilization there was another 'S' word. This one was shopping!! There is a whole outlet shopping area in North Conway (near the town we stayed in) and New Hampshire has no sales tax , so I went on a shopping spree. . We also went to Freeport, Maine one day to go to the LL Bean store (the big one!!) and the outlet stores there. There was no room in the car when we came home today. We came home with so much more than we left with!!!

I will definitely post some pics.

Wow, sounds very nice. CAn't wait to see pics. I was just online looking up B&B's in Vermont. We are wanting to 'tag' a Christmas tree at a farm and then go back up closer to Christmas to pick it up.
