I went to go to sleep last night and as I turned on my side, I got a severe backache out of nowhere. My back was killing me on the left side. DH tried to massage it, we tried to put a heating pad on it & I tried to lay in different positions but it wouldn't go away. I finally went to the living room and sat in the recliner watching tv til 4am. The recliner actually helped and I was able to go to sleep finally. The pain in my back was a very painful burning pain. Anyone know if this is normal or what it could possibly be? I didn't lift anything or pull anything.

Re: Back pain.
The baby is probably laying on a nerve.
Feel better. Maybe call your Dr and see if they have any ideas on how to relieve it

Re: Back pain.
sounds like itty bitty has found a new place to rest.
Poor dear....its' so uncomfortable. Sometimes getting up and walking around, maybe bending side to side slowly, might shift the baby a tiny bit.

Re: Back pain.
Sue- I had back pain all the time during miss Molly's stay in Hotel Michele and the chiropractor, prof. massage and ice packs worked to help me deal. Try icing packs for 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off for tonight. It stinks to have the cold on you but in the end you feel much better. You should also consider splurging for a prof. masssage. you will feel like a million bucks afterwards.
