My FH and I were supposed to get married in Vegas this year bc the money just wasn't there for a big, elaborate wedding that I always wanted. Well after speaking with my parent's and listening to their thoughts, my FH and I agreed to have the 'traditional' wedding! And the best part- my parent's agreed to pay for the hall!!
SOOOOOOOO, tell me where you all are getting married!! To keep costs low, we're going to have a February 2011 wedding, so I need ideas!! Trying to keep it under 100 PP, in suffolk county and hoping to find an all-inclusive package. Hoping that's not too much to ask for LOL!!!

We actually had BCC as our venue, but weren't happy with the vendors they provided for us in the package. I'm still trying to get my deposit back, but nobody seems to want to answer the phone, or email me back. I don't want to have to use the 'Suffolk Catering Hall Law' card with them LOL

Check out the Thatched Cottage! I think they have a $10K deal for 100 people that includes DJ, flowers, etc.

stewart thomas manor has an all inclusive package DJ -photographer- limo - for like 10grand as long as you have 100 people. Dont know what your style is, but for the value it's worth a look

fox hollow gave us amazing prices imo, we went with another hall but that was our second choice, and i've heard the off season prices are great too!

thanks for your help ladies!!! Right now i'm looking into Larkfield Manor (just bc it's literally 2 blocks away from me), and my parent's love the Thatched Cottage. I was a bit turned off by the cottage bc the guy I spoke with was giving me such an attitude and was reluctant to answer any of my questions. I went there back in November, had a contract and pricing written up, but decided not to book due to financial issues at the time. He pulled out my contract yesterday on the phone and told me that the price pp was going up 10 dollars bc I didn't book with them in November. Sooooooo hopefully LM will be more customer-friendly...
