Back to my question....

Back to my question....

Do any of you worry about your DH cheating on you or, are any of you worried about ex-gfs and are any still in the picture?

I ask because recently I was contacted by an ex of sorts who is newly married and he mentioned he isn't all that happy.

Thanks

Not worried. I wouldn't be worried even if he went out alone with an ex-girlfriend. I trust him that much. In the past...I always was worried about that with other boyfriends and found out later it was with good reason!

I will say that I've known plenty of engaged/married men who have told me they were unhappy...and 9 times out of 10 it was b/c they were looking for a little action on the side. It is kind of depressing.

Re: Back to my question....

I'm not the kind of girl who gives it on the side to married men but I love this guy with all my heart. I just feel bad because his wife has NO CLUE he feels this way. She really doesn't know much about him from what I've heard yet I'm sure she trusts him just as much as you all trust your DHs. For all you know I could be talking about one of you (not that I am!).

I just realized this made me sound like I did give him what he wants which I DIDN'T!! He made his choice when he married her. I have more respect for myself than that.

Re: Back to my question....

It's his fault if his wife has no idea that he feels this way. It's his obligation to tell her and give her a chance to work it out. If they can't, then he should consider formally ending it before he takes up with someone else.

Sorry if that seems too black and white, I know there's more gray when emotions are involved BUT if someone didn't want to be with me, then I'd prefer that they talk to me before cheating on me, and then leave me, rather than cheat on me.

Ditto! how long is this guy married for? I mean my Dh and I are happily married but if it was my man I would want to know.

Re: Back to my question....

Sorry if I sound like a Biatch, but if I was Single and an ex who was married, wanted a piece from me on the side, and I knew he was married, I would stay away....

Because...

1...I already know he is married and if he is having married issues, HE has to deal with them with his WIFE

2....If he is going to cheat on her, he is also going to cheat on Me...

3....I don't share my man with anyone...and I don;t want no sloppy seconds!!!

I totally agree. Like I said, I have more respect for myself than that. Helping him cheat is no not an option. Just some of the things that were said were disturbing to know. I mean, being single I do want to get married one day but do ALL men think this way? I mean she's raving about what a great guy he is and all and I know otherwise. Honestly, I think he is a great guy overall except this one little flaw he seems to have. But, would he still have this flaw if he had married someone else and didn't 'settle'? Ugh, men are all pigs!
