I think maybe you should be more specific about what you need from those vendors...

For example, how many hours of photog coverage, how many photogs, how many albums, how many enlargements...

For flowers, how many people in the BP, any church arranagements, how many CPs and are they high or low?

For limos, how many cars, what size, and how many hours?

ok, take a breath...everything will be ok. the best thing you can do is make a preliminary budget for your wedding. how much you're willing to spend for your major vendors. just off the top of my head, sherwood triat was a bit expensive...patken is more affordable, and cassarino i've heard bad reviews from, so be careful. as far as flowers, i would shop around...pick a budget, like $2500 and bring it to the florist to try to help guide them with their ideas. everything is doable, don't worry. don't forget to negotiate and shop around. don't settle for the first offer on anything.

First, take a deep breath and calm down! Okay, now that you are calm, remember, things will get better. Sorry to hear about FH!

I will have a 6 month engagement (well, 5 mos and 29 days to the date) once our day comes. Trust me, you did right by taking a break! Even we don't rush on things and we have only 10 weeks left!

First, I agree with every poster. You need to decide what you are looking for exactly (ex. A florist cannot just give you a quote without knowing what type of arrangement, flowers, etc.) So, sit down with FH and decide what you are looking for.

We are using Burtons for flowers, but we are not a good marker to get price from (1st-FMIL is paying for them, 2-she is upgrading like crazy)-I hear they are reasonable and do lovely work-they did FH's sibs weddings, and they were lovely.

Another option is to post on the vendors helping brides board and they can quote you like that!

Good luck!
