they charged my SIL $80 to hem my FG's dress and take it in a little under her arms..
my alterations... Bustle & Let out around the boobs was $58 at my regular tailor...

You are making me nervous.....I am having my alterations done at DB next week, for both my dress and my daughters...I am afraid of what they are going to charge me!!
Basically I want to bring it to DB cause I want to put it on my DB card, otherwise, I would look elsewhere.

UGGHHH I hate how expensive alterations can be...I hope my girls don't need too much done...I did negotiate the alterations cap for them.

OMG!!!! I just went through this at DB. They charged FMIL 80 to alter my FSIL flower girl dress. I went there and complained and they lowered the price. It still makes me sick to my stomach that they had the nerve to stand up there with a straight face and tell me 80 was a fair price for a dress that was 84.15!!! Only in the land of weddings is it 'fair' to charge $80 for alterations on a little girl's dress. Bad Davids Bridal, Bad!!!!

Oh Crap! Now I am real nervous. I have my first fitting next week and I know they are going to have ot let it out (if not have to add material) - plus I want the train cut off ( I think)
its going to cost me a small forture. I think that DB doesnt have a cap on alterations either!
