BAD experience at Bee's Lingerie

Had a terrible experience at Bee's Lingerie in Great Neck. I went with two friends. We all needed undergarments for bridal gowns and bridesmaid dresses. The two women who helped us were nice when we walked in, maybe because we were the only people in the store, but they quickly became impatient and rude. It is the small type of store where they put you in a fitting room, and bring you the garments they think are right for you. They seemed annoyed that we didn't take the first things they gave us. We tried on about 3 different combinations of pieces each. We are all in our 30s, and not skinny minnys, so we have some areas that could benefit from the proper undergarments. We were not being wishy washy. We stated our concerns, and exactly what we were hoping for style/support wise. After one of the women disappeared, my friend asked the second their return policy. When told that it was exchange only, my friend said that she'd have to go back with her mom to make sure she thought the pieces would work with her gown. The woman made some nasty remarks to my friend about how that was ridiculous and stormed away. We heard her say 'They're not here to buy no bras.' To which the other woman replied, 'I know, that's why I walked away.' EXCUSE ME? Why are we standing here half naked and letting you stuff us into these devices of torture, if we aren't interested in making a purchase?? There are a thousand other places I'd be on a Saturday afternoon! We got dressed, and went down the road to My Daughter's Wedding. Yon is going to do alterations to the perfect undergarments for us. She fit us in on a busy Saturday, with no appointment, and really helped us out. Unless you are an easy fit, and know exactly what you want, I'd stay clear of Bee's.

Wow. You should write a letter to the manager stating what you overhead and how they lost a sale. Those women must not make much in commissions if they can't tell who is there to buy things or not!
I always go to Nordstroms for bras. I went to Blums once for a strapless and they only had two in my size in the whole store. Nordstroms always has a bunch of my size.
