bad experience with Brooklyn bridal store

I HATED Maid To Order on 18th Avenue in Brooklyn-- REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE

I ordered 4 bridesmaids dresses from the store.

They promised to have the bridesmaids' dresses on a certain day, then kept postponing that by a week and then then did not have them until 2 weeks later (yesterday they came in and my wedding is next week). Now the girls still need time to get alterations done.

During the 2 weeks, it was impossible to reach them because they don't pick up the phone. They also don't return messages and the mailbox is full, anyway.

The owner blamed it on FedEx, but that does not excuse their not picking up the phone and not returning messages (although they obviously listened to each message because they knew why were calling as soon as we said our names.)

We are really sorry to hear about this. They should
really help you out now by convinently scheduling your bridesmaids dress fitting appointments ASAP. At this just keep on stopping at the store when you need to and or when you feel that something is going on just to let them know that you are serious.

That is terrible....I live almost around the corner from them and know that they are a relatively new store so they should be more accommodating in order to build a reputation for themselves. I am sure glad we didn't shop there now that I heard your experience. Good luck with your alterations and have a beautiful wedding.
