Re: Bad experiences with RK Bridal?

I had a very good experience with RK Bridal. I found the BM dress in a salon for $185. I got a quote from Netbride for 118 and I did the RK no frills program and saved 5% off the 118. The dresses came in quickly and in great shape.

I recommend them.

Good luck

My BM's are about to order their gowns from RK (no-frills plan). I'm a little nervous too, but after reading many good reviews, I'm hoping all should go well!

What is the 'no-frills plan?'

i got my dress from there (which came in this week ) and we are ordering my BM dresses from there this week. I have been very happy with them so far, the only time i have had any trouble was when i had a question about no frills prices and how to do an order half no frill and half regular, one woman was very nasty! everyone else has been so nice and very helpful!

Re: Bad experiences with RK Bridal?

Someone asked what the 'no frills' plan is, so...the 'no frills' plan at RK means that when you order your BM dress you agree to measure yourself using their tape measure and sizing chart (your friends can help you) and that when the dress comes in, you take it to your own tailor, you do not have it tailored there. For this, they give you $50 off the price of the dress.

The price they show you on the front of the price tag on the BM dresses shows the regular price they charge (if they measure you and you tailor the dress there), but if you turn the tag over, you should see a cheaper price written in the corner, that is the 'no frills' price.

I hope this is correct and makes sense, if you call them I'm sure they will explain it to you.

Don't be nervous about ordering dresses from them...I ordered my wedding dress from them and it came in after only a month and everything has run smoothly.

Good Luck...

I have only good experiences with RK. I got my dress there and so did my bridesmaids and my mom found her gown there. My girls dresses were ordered in mid-late November and came in on Christmas Eve. I ordered my dress on Columbus day back in October. It came in on January 23rd. Pretty quick I thought.

I ask b/c I was told that I could pay a super rush fee to get my dresses in by June 30 and I can even pick them up in person so I don't have to wait for shipping. But then, after pressing them, turns out they 'may' come in a week later b/c the market is very busy and that they cannot garauntee me a date. This kinda makes me nervous. Never mind the extra $50 a dress I would be paying but that I am on my last nerve and one more mess-up and I might be wearing a straight jacket on my wedding day instead of a Peter Langer.
