Bad meeting with limo company
So last night FH and I went back to visit Cruise Control Limosouines. We saw them at a showcase and they seemed nice and had their prices at the show as well. When we met with the owner he was nice and very personable and all though their office and attire wasn' t the greatest it wasn't horrible and I figured since it was a Saturday they might be a little more casual on the weekends.
Anywayz the first time we spoke he gave me a qute for a bus, 8 pass limo, and a rolls royce for about $1850 after FH haggled him down. He didn't pressure us to sign and said to get back when we were ready. So we went to their 'showcase' last night and the owner was 30 minutes late. The guy who greeted us was a complete slob, we were the only customers there and he had us wait for the owner in the office with the rest of the staff that was just sitting around watching tv.![]()
At this point I figure its bad weather no body really wants to travel in the rain so I stayed. When the owner showed up, he coudn't find our paperwork since there is no type of organization, he was looking for our proposal in drawers, file cabinets, piles of paper it was ridiciulous. I thought FH was going to pop a blood vessel. Then of course I realized I didn't have a copy and when he re ran the numbers again he was over by almost $1000. Now I understand that I should have had my copy but we left from FH's house and I wrote my notes on the price sheet from the show instead of in my book. My book only had the price but not how he orginally broke it down. So the new prices are written on a SCRAP yes a SCRAP piece of paper and he makes a photocopy and says ' see if you can find the copy I made originally and come back and I will match the price.![]()
Ummm how about I will leave now and run and never come back.
A complete waste of time, I could have been watching P.S. I love you with FH..
Sorry this was soo long but I figured I would let you ladies know just in case you meet with these people. Im sure they could have done an ok job but I refuse to take that risk.
Now its back to the drawing boards. I want this to end already.![]()
