Bad news and Goods news.

Well my brother and his girlfriend are eloping this June. They've been together since 10 and 11 grade, they are now 24 and 25. They were going to have a wedding next yr but really couldn't wait, several reasons.
Unfortunely my brother didn't contact our dad until today and my father can't make it. He goes camping with his brother once a year and his brother already spent the money for him to come. So my father won't be able to come.

So I felt really bad, so I told them if they want and if my FH doesn't mind, that at our wedding when our ceremony ends, they can come up and renew their vows. My FSIL likes the idea, my brother is harder to read and of course FH didn't have a problem at all. But I'm kinda glad I could offer this. My dad and brother are close in a way.

Sorry I guess its vainty, I just wanted to share my one good deed of the day.

Aww....that is really sweet. You would make alot of peopl happy and that is a HUGE thing to do on 'your' day. You are a cool sister!

Awwww. That's soo sweet of you, and FH. It's funny b/c sometimes we can get soo caught up int he fact that it's our day, and the spotlight should be on us, but sometimes it's good to be able to compromise. And what your doing I think is great. You brother should be happy to have a sister like you.
