Bad things happen before the wedding day

I dont know if this is happened many times to the couple who will get married. My fiance and I engaged almost 1 year and we will get married this August, everything seems to be ready and we are so exciting for this special day.

We both long distance and he is working in another city which is takes 1.5 hours by plane where I live now. Recently, I heard people made a ******** story about me which said i have another relationship with another guy and said my relationship with my fiance was over.

This news makes me so deep down and I dont know exactly who made the story..I tried to forget everything as I knew it wasnt true. Then, when my fiance come here I told him about what I heard with purpose I need him to know the gossip then forget it, not trying to find out who and why. I m kind like sad as I feel he dont trust in me...

I dont know what to do now, then I let him to find out as what he wanted to do. Do you think this kind of thing often happened to the couple who will get married?
