Re: bad, very bad....

i thought the color strand wand looked so easy! but the streaks did not lighten evenly and i didn't get a few of them started ecxactly at the root. my head is polka dotted. no way am I posting a pic!!!

just got back from the store and bought a color that is close to my natural shade...hopefully I can fix it!!!

Re: bad, very bad....

Feria is the WORST!! If you already have color on the end of your hair the root will lighten but not the whole strand. (Color doesn't lift color) in order to get lift from previously colored hair you have to use a lightner. So I really think that tomorrow if you can make an appointment with a salon and let them fix it. Good Luck don't worry it'll be fine

Edited to say that if you put another color on top of what you did in a few weeks the highlights/polka dots as you say will show through.

I wouldn't mess with it again. I would have someone at the salon fix it. You don't want to damage your hair or make it worse.

oh no. I saw it on tv and thought it was too good to be true to do it yourself. (speaking of highlights,,,,,my roots are killing me, they need to get done, but I'm waiting until it gets closer to e-party - NEXT month )

Poor kid- I did the SAME Thing- except mine looked like zebra stripes.

The Feria kit looks SOOOO easy- but it's not...

I know a great colorist in Massapequa and a great colorist in Astoria- are any of these close to you?
