I am having pipes as my recessional, however FH's uncle plays the pipes in a pipe band out east, so he is doing it for us as a favor. Sorry I can't help you with a price

Re: Bag Pipes
i am having one who will play before and after the ceremony outside the church. My BM is in a bagpipe band and is getting one of her people to do it for me. Not sure of the price yet but hopefully she'll hook me up!

Re: Bag Pipes
I had one, he is a NYC Fireman and does this on the side, he is awesome and was referred to my by NycChic24
Ok ...i am just confused I have a couple of issues with the bag pipes
1. I am getting married at 11 AM!!! BaG Pipes are VERY LOUD...get my drift?
2. When should i have them play (I want them only in the church) when the BP walk, when i walk, when we leave?
3. How much does this service usually cost?
I love the bag pipe thing though and was really interested

Re: Bag Pipes
Have them play at the end of the ceremony when you guys exit the church. Then it will be Noon (not morning) They usually run between $100-$150. My FH is in Emerald Society and he knows lots of pipers that do weddings. I can ask him for prices. FH plays drums in case your interested.

Re: Bag Pipes
You can contact the Emerald Society or Nassau County Pipe & Drum band (Very good!!!) Have him pipe you out of the church and them have him play for a few moments while you get into the limo and drive away. Everyone loves the pipes no matter what time it is. Good luck!
