Bagel spinoff... What's your favorite flavor?

Xelindrya..my friend is from Texas (Pearland) and when she lived in New York she told me how they really didn't have bagels. I was in shock. I go there once a year to see her. I should bring a whole dozen back for her!

I also remember that Mexican food was much more popular than Italian food here. She didn't know what Penne Ala Vodka was. I however was in shock of 'Chicken Fried Steak'.
It's strange how different parts of the country have such different foods.
