Does anyone know a reasonably priced person that could play the bagpipes for the ceremony? My FH is Irish and would really love this but we can't afford to spend the $250 and up we were quoted for 30 min. Does anyone know someone that would do it for less? TIA

Re: Bagpipers
I'm looking as well and someone suggested emailing the emerald society (?) and that they got right back to them.
I did, and they didn't

Re: Bagpipers
Contact Emerald Society. I contacted them once with no response. Then sent email again and got a response immediately. We have a guy coming for less then $250.

Thanks - I'll give it another shot!
Did you actually send them an email or did you fill out the online form. I filled out the online form.

Re: Bagpipers
Try calling the local Volunteer fire depts they are sometimes volunteer people there. I know there used to be some guys in emerald society in Levittown. I know there is one guy in East Meadow but not sure if he does it on the side. You can try & ask. I don't have his # though.

Re: Bagpipers
I work with a guy whos in a pipe and drum band. I asked him what he would charge for my day. He told me 200 for outside the house, outside the church, and in the RH for a few minutes. If you're interested FM me and I will get back in touch with him

Re: Bagpipers
just when you do it just ask for them to do like three - four song TOPS, as much as I love it anymore can kill the time. I had dancers and pipers which made it very entertaining but it killed some of our reception time.
