Suppossedly the old beauty queen trick is using Preparation H because it's made to 'shrink tissue' & it can be used on sentitive skin......Personally, I've never used it, so I can't speak from experience.

I actually keep Preparation H gel in my make-up bag. I use it every once in a while. I think it works a little, but it is no miracle cure to undereye bags. It works best on days that you are more puffy than usual.

Anyone have suggestions for dark circles? That is my problem and no concealer on earth has been able to solve my problem!

I know to conceal them you should put a yellow toned concealer on them...but to get rid of them...lots of water and rest...

For bags and dark circles, try the eye mask (with gel for lids) put it in the freezer or the fridge the night before .. put it on your eyes in the morning and it goes away.. i have bags from allergies and it works.. you can get this at kohls.. i got the eye mask and lid mask for 9.99

I'm a skin care, makeup-holic!!! . Eyes have always been an issue for me as I have thin skin and am prone to teh puffy look. For bags under the eyes, cucumbers really do work as they have a natural ingredient which consticts them and firms them up. There are also some very good light eye creams and gels that you can use (Origins makes a good one called Eye Doctor and Osmotics makes a good one too for puffiness). Lightly pat any cream you use around the eye. The patting helps the puffiness also as you are draining the fluids out. Also sleep alittle raised. If you sleep very flat then all the fluids can build up and gives you puffy eyes. Do not use any HEAVY eye creams... they will make your eyes more puffy. For dark circles lately Vitamin C (brightens and ligthens) and Vitamin K (used also for bruising) have been used a lot. I know Peter Thomas ROth supposedly makes a good Vit K one but it is expensive (like $100). THey sell it in Sephora. For Vitamin C just shop around alittle there are a ton of them.... Lancome has some very good products. Good luck!
