Bah Humbug - my DH has NO Halloween spirit!
I want a pumpkin! DH says no bc we don't have kids so we shouldn't have to decorate for Halloween.... Hello, I AM A KID! :) So I want to just pick one up on my way home from work tonight - I just have to find a place in midtown that sells them and I'm all set
hee hee AND I think we should dress up our puppy for his first Halloween, and he doesn't want to do that either! A Rottie will only be this small once, and he's going to be a tank by this time next year - so it's his only chance to wear a cute little puppy costume! He's such a farty-pants sometimes. Does anyone else deal with this with their DH/DW?

My cousins have a halloween party every year and he won't dress up with me. He doesn't mind that I decorate for Halloween just doesn't participate. If he thinks I have alot of Halloween decorations, wait til he sees all my Christmas decorations.

Crazy UKer's!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's because they don't really have Halloween on thsi side of the pond. DH is okay about Halloween, but is BAH humbug about other things. Since when are pumpkins only for kids????????
You should be able to find pumpkins at most Korean markets. Where are you in midtown?

Yeah, I was thinking that about the Korean places too. there's actually one right down the street from my building so I'll have to check it out. I'm at 55th and Broadway.DH just never really gets excited about the holidays - but to be fair - you're totally right about the UK thing, bc his parents dont make a big deal of it either. He's just lucky I have enough holiday spirit for the both of us! When I get my pumpkin, I'm going to draw a pic of the Grinch wearing a witch hat and put Craig's name on it !
