bahamas sandals royal bahamian..

well i was JUST BOUT TO BOOK the rest of our honeymoon package when i came across a site that does reviews of dominican republic hotels.. and the one i had planned on booking did't have bad reviews.. no not at all.. but what it did have were reviewers who mentioned.. the topless bathing, the excessive smoking..

i dont want to see random tatas' on my vacation.. and fh can't tolerate smoke.. he's like a big baby around it. i grew up round it and while i dont like it i wont have a conniption.. he on the othr hand will complain every day all day..

so i'm doing some research and i find the sandals royal bahamaian resort.. looks nice... doesn't appear to have topless bathing.. and i'm thinking bout changing our honeymoon location.. any thoughts?

MyFMIL went there about 5 years ago and loved it! Lots of honeymooners and every activity, meal, drink was included. They went snorkeling, scuba diving, took a trip to a private island. They had a wonderful time. They also have full spa but the sauna, whirlpool steam room in there is not co-ed. There are lots of whirlpools o the propety, not private but small. Also a great swim up poolbar~and all drinks are included.
Downside was that if you do not have a concierge room you couldn't make reservations for the restaurants. Long lines at times. They did have that type room so they got right in. You might want to check that part of it out~see if policy has changed.
Also be sure to not get the rooms in the back. FMIL says they were very small and rustic. You want to be in the tall buildings by the beach.
Island Travel in Masspaequa is supposed to be the Sandals Queen. They even have a car that has Sandals written all over it. You might want to talk to them.

PS FMIL sia ddefinitely no topless bathing!

My FH and I went there last year. We had the most amazing time. The food was really good and the service was excellent. There were also lots of fun things to do.

Went there on my honeymoon. I loved it. AMAZING!! Lots of couples, food is to die for, service is great, no topless people, close to airport and short flight. No one comes on the resort to bother you. I have been to the bahamas 4x and I cant wait to go back. I went to dominican republic 1x and will never go back. Just my opinion, based on my experiance. In the end its your honeymoon you will have an amazing time where ever you go!

FH and I have been to sandals royal bohamian 2 times. We love it!! We've been to sandals in st. lucia and love the bahamas better.

I havent see anyone topless there hehe.
