does anyone know if they have a website? my RH uses them for the cakes, and i was hoping to see some sample cakes they've done. i think i have to set up an appointment pretty soon (have to check with the BM about that)

Yes, we went the other day to pick out a cake...it was very very strange! The cake was delicious...but he gave us 3 options for a 'harbor links' cake and they were hideous....then I asked if I could pay more for something else and he kept running around that...it was weird.
He worked with us and we are doing a simple tiered cake with butter cream and ribbon for no additional cost.
He was very nice, but it was a bit of a strange experience.

They don't have a web site, but I've got pictures of 2 cakes that they did in my album. There is a mad-hatter style cake in the My Sister's Shower album and a sculpted purse cake in the My Shower @ Hudson Mill album.

i'm afraid to call now!! lol how many flavors were there to choose from? and he gave you samples? never done a cake choosing before! did you get a round or square? how many tiers? did you go through harbor links? or did you call on your own to make the appointment? any details you can give would be awesome!

hi!
I called jeanine from harbor links to get the information. Then I called baked to perfection to set up an appt and mentioned that I was a harbor links bride. They had three samples..red velvet choc and white with pudding. I think we are doing 4 tiers round butter cream with ribbon and a flower toppwr provided by my florist.
I can't even believe the pictures of the previous posters cakes....we wanted one tier to be slightly different shape and he said it was to hard....but he can make pocketbooks???

yes i must agree the pastry chef is a bit weird. i selected my cake months ago and upgraded cause the standard HL cakes were ugly. I ended up paying an additional $2 a slice for each person. i'm having 4 tiers in a swiss dot design in buttercream in all white. John's my florist and he will be decorating it with flowers.
