I know a few people have recommended Audrey's in suffolk, but can anyone recommend a bakery in Nassau that can make difficult cakes-like Yankee Stadium or a Jet helmet? I would like to get one made for my FH for the rehearsal dinner.

Re: Bakeries In Nassau Co.
I had my rehersal dinner cake done at Dortoni's in Levittown. The made a piano that was outstanding. They are really great! Not only was it gorgeous, but soooo delicious. It is right on Hempstead Tpke.

Dortoni is a GREAT Bakery!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd probably have to say the best on the island--all their stuff is just so pretty, I dont even want to eat it sometimes...but then I give in and I do.
