Bakery in Eastern Suffolk?

Bakery in Eastern Suffolk?

Hi, all! I want to surprise FH with a groom's cake for our rehearsal dinner. Any recommendations for a good bakery in LI who delivers to Eastern Suffolk? Our rehearsal dinner will be in East Setauket, and I would need the cake delivered directly to the restaurant because we will be coming in together and I won't get a chance to pick it up. TIA!

There are a few great bakeries. One is La Bonne Boulangerie. It is in Port Jefferson on 25A across the street from the water (near McDonald's). Another fabulous one is in Rocky Point, a few minutes away but it is unreal. It's called Tilda's Bake Shop. This is also on 25A (business in Rocky Point, south side of the road).
My advice is to stop by when your in the area and taste things out for yourselves!

Thank you so much! Unfortunately I won't be in the area again until our rehearsal dinner, because I live in Manhattan and don't have a car. :( FH usually drives when we go out there, but I want this to be a surprise. If you absolutely have to pick one from your list, which one would you pick? Thank you!!

La Bonne Boulangerie is very good, but I've never had their cakes. I've had a cake from the Rolling Pin bakery in Setauket and it was FABULOUS! You might want to try there. FM if you need more contact info.

I'm not sure if she'll do all this, but I'm using sherribabee.com for my grooms cake. She's amazing and might be able to work with you. I say it's worth a shot asking. The worse she can say is no. But her stuff is absolutely amazing and delicious!!!

everyone has listed great bakeries... but if your enagement party is in Setauket, I would probably stick with the rolling pink since it is so close... many of the catering halls use them!
