We are planning on going on a 5 day Celebrity cruise. It makes 2 stops. We were thinking of getting a balcony room since we wil be on the boat 3 days. The price difference is only about 200. Has anyone ever stayed in a room with a balcony??? Is it worth the money??

FH and I have stayed in a balcony room twice on cruises. I definitely think that it is worth the extra money...especially if its only 200 more. It's really nice to be able to go out on the balcony in the morning and also makes the room feel a lot bigger (since on a cruise ship the rooms are small). It's also really nice to order room service and eat breakfast and/or dinner on your balcony. I def say that you should go for it!!!

When FH and I went on a cruise he didn't purchase the balcony room but they upgraded us when we got there and it was soo nice. It was nice to be able to go back to the room and just hang out outside in the fresh air watching the water. I think if its only $200 more than I'd say go for it.

DO IT! I went on a cruise with my family and we got upgraded to a balcony suite. It was awesome to sit at the balcony and watch the flying fish at night. And they give you those plush terry robes. Nothing beats that combination!!!!
And for only $200 more! seems like a no-brainer to me!

BALCONY....its worth every xtra cent!!!!!!
It truely makes a big difference, it will allow you to have your own private out doors.....so to speak

I have done both- and having a balcony is def. worth the extra money.
