What about the Capezio store? I think there is one around 49/50/51 Sts on Broadway. You can have soles put on by a local shoemaker. Those would be extremely confortable!

I have decided to wear white cowboy boots with my dress. You really can wear whatever you want. If you are the proper type certainly there are alot of gorgeous shoes to choose from. I try to avoid pumps whenever possible and I have toyed with the idea of western boots for awhile, before I was even engaged. Now, I am excited to be able to allow my fun side to show on this special day. People don't really see your feet (we arent doing a garter toss), although I wouldnt wear an old pair of shoes. Of course, I wont have much use for a pair of white cowboy boots in Queens after the wedding (haha) but also think it would be a nice whimsical pic if I had a shot showing them off. I told a few people and more than one looked at me oddly but I have decided to wear them. Anyway, it's all a personal choice and it's important to me to respect that in other people as well as in myself.
