I am trying to find ballet slippers to wear all day - I really would love to find some that tie up the leg - any suggestions on where to find any? I think I am going to have to buy some regular slippers and get them decorated and then take them to a shoe maker to have the material added in order to tie them up my leg....

Re: Ballet Slippers - WHERE
Hey, I am a dance teacher ... real ballet slippers don't have the ribbons that tie around the ankle. Only the point shoes have them (that was the picture from the link someone posted) and you can definitely not walk in them. You have to be fitted for them and trust me they are not comfortable. The ballet slippers are super comfy and you can always buy ribbon and sew it to the sides if you want that look. They come in leather or canvas and they are usually pink but I'm sure you can get them in white. Here is the site we use .... discount dance just click on shoes and go to ballet slippers. Good luck!!
