just curious.. i have done everything myself ..but am little anxious about the day of and wanting someone to take care of things so i can relax and enjoy ... anyone know if you can hire someone for just the day of and around how much it might cost? thanks!!

WOW.. thats a lot!! granted if u want to ensure the day runs smoothly and u have the extra money.. it'd be nice to have.. but sorry that can go for our house!

I have been quoted $300 and up.. I think since you are sooo close to your date taht you should try to negoiate a smaller fee...since they are probably not going to get another person so close to the date.

does a doc basically tell everyone where to go ... take care of little things ... make phone calls if needed at the last minute??? how do you know if someone is good or not?
if i could find someone for 200 or 300 i might go for it....

I'm paying $650... which to me, is a small price to pay for being worry free on the Big Day! With all the details, I don't want me or my mom to have to worry about everything, so we decided hiring a DOC was a no-brainer. Plus, I'm doing a candy buffet, and she will be setting that up for us.
