There is a deal right now that I might do: 29.99 a month. I have to pay right now for 2 months, a $29 activation fee and a $10 card fee. Then, it's 29.99 a month. I can cancel at any time for a $25 fee. There isn't a contract so as long as I have it (I guess) it's 29.99. What do you girls think? Does anyone have a Bally's membership like this? I'm already a member at Lucille but the hours stink.

whatever you do DO NOT get a bally's membership. They lock you in forever and can wreck your credit. Your better off going to a local gym.

The only issue with a local gym is that the hours aren't late enough. I am soooo torn! Actually there is a place in Oceanside maybe I'll check out. I feel like there aren't many places near my house (except NY Sports Club) and it's so expensive!

sorry to crash- but read everything they give you at ballys and SIGN NOTHING! Also, never give them your cc or debit card. Ask to pay monthly in cash. Under no circumstances can they be trusted. Just try to protect yourself and your money. I got burned really really bad by them. is there a pf or golds near you? they have later hours and are little more reputable. GL

I hate ballys and they do really sketchy things. When I joined, they signed me up for an account but to get this special deal they used another member's address. I had no idea what the girl was doing. It was sketchy. I think she was getting me a deal that I needed to have a family member already using ballys to get. I got ****** in but looking back, I hope they don't let other people have my address. She even used the other womans last name. It was weird. Also, I never use it because it is gross and dirty. I would love to get out of that contract.

Sorry.. PF is planet fitness and I joined Gold's month to month and it was 59 a month. They have great classes and a lot of cardio machines. If you choose, they have a 12 month contract and its 49 a month. I will never sign a contract again so i did the 59 a month. HTH
