Bananna Curls a Few loose in front on Wedding Day?????

Girls....Is it really a BAD move to have all of my hair in a bun (ribbon like curls) but with a few pieces hanging in the front. We are getting married in Aug. and outside. Will those pieces really be straight in a matter of an hour or two??? or is there a way the hair dressers keep them looking curly? Any experience with this type of hair style, PLEASE let me know.

depends on the type of hair you have...if you know that's how you're hair reacts to humidity, then I wouldn't chance it. My hair is really long, and my grandmother was mad at me for a minute when i tried to explain why i was having ALL of my hair pulled into a bun. I'm an august bride too, and I refuse to look like i have an afro on my head!!

I am have a few curls down with my updo (my hair is naturally that way though and gets curlier in the humidity)...I'll let you know how it goes afterwards
