I am not using The Cunningham Brothers but I have been to weddings and functions that they have played at and they are very good.

Eileen Fogarty was my first choice but they are booked! I am so bummed! They will be great at your wedding. CBrothers do not have a song list which can be frustrating!

Oh no!! Did you check with the New York Show Band. They were our second choice. A few weddings I was at the dance floor was always packed. They are really good. My friend had the Boston Burglars and they were also very good.

If nobody minds me askign, what is the typical price range for a decent band? i've heard anywhere from 8,000-10,000. is this accurate?

It all depends on the band and how many pieces it comes with. If you are having a band with 8+ people in it, then you are looking at the price you quoted. You can find a terrific band for under $5K....
