Can anyone recommend any really good moderately priced bands ($4000-$5000) that play a good mix of music (old and new?)

We booked The Projeckt www.theprojekt.com from Sound Check entertainment (LIW vendor) They sing everything!!

My band isn't in LI, but you can hear sound clips on their site and then decide if you'd be interested in seeing them play live. The website is www.stolenmoments. We booked Moonlight Silouettes for $4500.

Try Eastcoast band. They will sing whatever you'd like and you can shoose what size band you'd like. They have a website. I know they play at a few places on LI and in the city.

We booked a skyline band. They have 4 bands (i think) and they have showcases regularly. Check out there website SKYLINE
