Check out 'Times Square Orchestra' they are dynamic. I also love 'Code Bleu'
Prices should be between 5,000 to 7,200 depending on the day of the week and how many band members. Any one trying to charge you $10,000 for an 8 piece band is way out of line and most of the money goes to the agency. The best bands I saw were all under $7,000 and worked independently, (no angencies). The more expensive bands were not any better than the lower price bands. In fact I thought the lower price bands were 10x better.

The Original Faze 4 were sensational - they made my wedding.
However, they have other bands within their company that are just as good - and cheaper.

East Coast Band!! They were amazing at our wedding and they also play at bars in the city and LI when they're not doing weddings. They get everyone up and dancing and aren't cheesy at all!

i was quoted $10-12K depending on the date for Faze 4. This was in Jan 2010.
