Band? Check. Sort of. Photographer? Hopefully. Gown? Blech

First... I was at the Inn tonight... it was my first time there, and i would have driven right past it if one of you ladies hadnt recently posted pics of the construction, i recognized it right away. thank you! it was gorgeous inside, very nice.
We went to see the band I'm thinking of booking for the wedding. They were awsome, totally fun and kept throwing in little jokes for me. At the end of the night we decided to book them so I'm sending out the deposit and contract on Monday.

The photographer we're intrested in called today to tell us someone else asked about our date. We have till Tuesday to make a decision. FH and I love his work as do my parents, and want to book him, we just have to talk to my mom and dad to see if we can swing both deposits the same week. I think if we call him and explain that we definately want to book, and sign a contract he may let us put down a smaller deposit. Cross your fingers for me?

I saw a picture of the gown i tried on at Macy's that they had me put the deposit on. It's gorgeous online...and on the model... but it looks nothing like that on me. I cried as soon as i saw it and not in a good way. My mom loved it and just kept saying, it's gorgeous, you put money down on it, just keep it.


I think i might just wear a wifebeater and pajama bottoms at this point. It seems everyone is finding their gowns right now... it was a big weekend for that. I hope some of their mojo good luck will rub off on me.

First off congrats on finding your band!!!! Second I know you are getting extremely disappointed with the dress process but trust me, you will find something that you love! Don't settle. Good Luck with speaking to the photographer. I hope that works out for you! Try not to be discouraged

Finding the band has definitely calmed be down a bit. I just feel like the wedding is approaching so fast and i have nothing done except for the venue.

The more I think about it, the more I wonder if I should just totally ignore everyone, and get the dress I love. As long as i feel gorgeous in it, who cares right?

My fiance told me to wear a white tux if I want because i keep finding tuxedos i love lol. he's so cute.
