My fiance and I are having trouble picking a band. We are thinking about either the Steve DeLisi Band from Hank Lane or the Rebecca Blake Band from Starlight Orchestra. We've never seen either live. Anyone have any input? Thanks.

I'm not familiar with either of those bands, but we used Soul Revival and looooooooved them. They were really great, and everyone was dancing nonstop. Their website is www.soulrevivalband.com HTH

My friend was at a wedding a few weekends ago where the Steve Delisi band was playing and she said they were the best band she had ever heard at a wedding. So, I think you can't go wrong with them. Personally I am a fan of Hank Lane and that is who I am using (a different band though, not Steve Delisi)

Can I recommend another, A Current Affair.
My dad collected cards from every band he liked for about 6 years leading up to the wedding. When it came time to pick he had about 20 cards from them. DH and I heard them and booked them immediately. I never ever went to a wedding where people danced before the appetizers until mine. I can't tell you how many times I had to do a double take because I couldn't believe it wasn't the original artist singing.
I can't tell you how many guests have said that was by far the best band they have ever heard at an event of any kind. About 45 of my guests actually took cards from them and 4 are already interested in them for their weddings and aren't even engaged yet. And some of them live in NJ and are praying they will come that far.

I'm not familiar w/ either of those bands but check out Code Bleu - they are amazing! We booked them on the spot! They have a free showcase on Mon Oct 26th at the Milleridge Inn

I agree...thats who i used...loved them! Also Times Square is the other 1 who I loved!!!!

I am booked with Hank Lane (a different band). They have so many excellent bands and have been around for over 20 years. I have never heard a bad thing about them!
