Band info? - The Touch

Has anyone ever had or seen The Touch perform at a wedding?

Modern Bride listed them at one of the top 150 in the country. As a great cover band. Just if anyone has experienced them.

Stuff w/ my band is falling apart, and leaving a bad taste in my mouth. I'm starting to look for a new band. less than 3 months from my wedding!

Any reccomendations?

Yea they do play at clubs still.
But they are doing alot of weddings.

I was looking into The Zoo.. They are a great covee band too.

I'm just concerned they will be able to play all the oldie music my parents, and some family will want to hear.

I am sure the touch can bc when they played at Dublin Pub they did play some oldies. They are pro's I am sure they can play anything with the exception of ethnic music if you need it (Greek/Italian/Spanish).

Yea I am getting a greek band, so I need to make sure they know how to work w/ eachother..

I get a little nervous thinking of not using a traditional wedding band.

Yes they were!!!! I LOVED seeing them at Dublin!!! That's where I met FH over 6 years ago!

They are awesome, and I've never heard such vocal ranges coming from a male singer. I've heard that they're pretty reasonably priced too.

If you go to the 'Songs' page, you can see that they play EVERYTHING.

They are HUGELY talented and they have moved their focus off the club scene and more towards weddings. They are very professional & can totally pull of the 'traditional' wedding band vibe as well.

Yes they were!!!! I LOVED seeing them at Dublin!!! That's where I met FH over 6 years ago!

haha that's what I heard his voice is amazing.. he really does sound like the actual artist!

I am sorry that you are having problems with your band FH and I saw the touch play when we were looking at bands, but decided to go with Soul Revival. For us they were a better fit and FH and I LOVED them. They play everything and sound great. Soul Revival website

My boss, who won't even recommend a restaurant to have lunch at, called me to tell me he was at a wedding that had The Touch and that I needed to call and book them for my wedding.

He still talks about them and the wedding was back in October. I say go for it.

ETA: I priced them out and it was $5,500 for a 4 hour package.

You don't miss having a female vocalist though??
If we do Breathe-Faith Hill for our song.. I can't picture him singing it..lol

Uh.. I'm so indecisive!!.. I like 3 bands right now..

i used to see them at Dublin too! Great band!!! haha...when i used to live in New Hyde Pk, and people would say 'Where is that?' I'd ask..'Been to Dublin Pub?' that's where...haha
