Band or DJ?

I don't really know the price differences, but FH and I are having a DJ. I originally wanted a band, but FH brought up a good point--you really dont want to hear someone try to sing like any R&B/Rap that arent the original artist. So I caved, and I think it was definately the right choice.

But I got my compromise--string quartet at ceremony and CH.

bands tend to be more expensive but DJ's can get really pricey once you add on lighting and any musicians, and depending on what equipment they use, etc. we like the idea of having the original music so we are going to have a DJ but we are adding a percussionist and sax player. i am so excited!!

Fh said the same thing about having the original artist but we added on the percussionist and possibly a sax player so you still get a lie element.

Same here, we have a Dj bc its just what we personally prefer but we got the percussionist and sax player.

Our dj is also having their photographer come to the ceremony to take pics and putting it up on the plasmas...they're doing 3 photo montages...Plus lighting

I LOVE a band!! we are actually having both
the difference in price is A LOT

the price difference i thought was tremendous. the bands were so much more moeny.

we ended up gettting the dj

starlight express and body rock does the same thing. we booked body rock but did not include the plasma... just the percussionist and sax.

I thought the bands would be a lot-- but the dj that i LOVE starts at $3900 for live/dj-- AHH!!
Thats without lights, tvs, zap shots, live feed-- NOTHING!!! Just music!!!!!!!!
