So I'm finally starting to listen to bands...I have my first showcase in 2 days!
These are the names that I've gotten so far. Any suggestions on them???
Skyline Times Square Orchestra Rhapsody Body Heat John Marshall Boston Burglars--if ANYONE has any info about them, PLEASE let me know!!
I need like a $5000-$5500 cap on price. Please help! Oh, we are a Saturday day.

Re: Band Question
I actually just posted a band question the other day, because that's the next thing on our list... So far, I only know of Times Square. They are completely amazing. I just want to book them, but I figured I should have something to compare them to.

Re: Band Question
By the way, is it Skyline that you're going to go see in 2 days? I know I got a postcard from them with upcoming showcases.

Re: Band Question
I went to alot of showcases, when I was looking at bands. I saw all the Skyline bands & liked them & they were reasonable. My FI is a huge music fan & plays the guitar so he really wanted a great band. We booked Renegade they are w/ LI Paramount. I would check out their bands--they sound exactly like the arist to & I have only heard great things about them--they came recommended to us from a couple that heard them at a wedding. I found that wedding band searching was one of the toughest things (besides favors) that we had to do. Good luck & whoever you choose I am sure you will be happy!!!

I would second this - you should definitely check Renegade out - I'm very excited about using them for our wedding.

Re: Band Question
Full House is also another great band (we used them too). And they will work with you on price if they are more than your cap.
You can listen to songs on their website I believe. They were great to work with and learned songs for us. We still go to see them every now and again when they play at local bars and they remember us!
Full House is amazing..They played at my cousins wedding in 2003 & everyone is still raving...
We are using The Projekt and can't rave enough. They were in that price range also. They came highly recommended to us & have so much energy...I can't wait to see them again
