Band question

have you been to a wedding with a band that also had a DJ? Or the band played along with a recorded song? how did it go? was it awkward or was there a smooth transition between the band and the recorded music?

this music issue is going to be the biggest stress of the wedding. i need to find a compromise btween a band and a DJ.
