Has anyone been to a band showcase? What happens at one of these events? Are there any other vendors there or is the only activity there is to watch the band play and thats it?

Most band showcases just have the one band play for about 30-60min.

Rhapsody is having a showcase at NRC. I'm really going to check out the hall, without the pressure to book on the spot, but I just wanted to know if there were any other activities besides the band that I should expect.

We went to one. The band played for an hour, they played samples of different types of music they'd play at a wedding. We ended up booking them.
