Re: Band Videos.....Help??!!! I am watching these videos from some of the bands out there, The Projekt, Jason Craig and The Energy Express Band. They all seem very good, but they all look and sound the same. The videos also seem to be produced with the same background. What's up with that? Different bands with same videos?
What does one look for when seeing a band in a video. I'm expecting to invite a lot of young people at my wedding and while I want to make my parents happy, I don't want a Frank Sinatra wedding! if you girls were judging from a video, how do you decide when they're all playing the same songs and looking the same? Does it come down to price at that point? Please help me out.

ull want to look at heart and soul from franklin wayne if you want a younger sounding voice. the girl genessa who is their lead singer is amazing!! we're still looking though but they are our top for now.

Honestly, I don't think you can get the full effect from any band just from a video.
Have you gone to any showcases? That way you get to see (and hear) them live........it's so much more impressive.

I so agree with this. We looked at some videos and kept seeing the same things that you did... the same songs, background, tuxes and it was confusing and what we didn't want. We hired Soul Revival and love them. We saw them live at a showcase and booked them immediately. Good luck!!!

I found my band. They are called The Next Step . My FH friend used them for their wedding last month, I was there and saw them live and they were very good. I called my FH friend today to get more information from him regarding this band because no one here heard of them. I called and spoke with Nick and it just so happened that they were rehearsing tonight for a wedding this weekend. He invited me and my fiance down to hear them play. They blew us away, they did their showcase for us and then the guitarist asked us if we had any requests. They played and sang every request we asked for. WOW!! I'm so happy that that's out of the way. Now to find a catering hall!!!
