Band with a LOTTA horns!

Band with a LOTTA horns!

My FH is obessed with getting a wedding that has a FULL horn section. Mean three different brass instruments.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a band that has this and it GOOD?!?

I'm not sure if I can pinpoint any bands with lots of horns... lol... but most bands several brass instruments, so I'm sure they can accomodate whatever you'd like to hear more of.

I wanted a Ska band and my daddy said no.
I'm not sure which bands exactly had a lot of horns, but I know quite a few of the bands I saw did...

i'm gonna try to find my notes that i took when looking at bands.

A true Horn Section has 3 different horns....it really makes a band sound much fuller. A few of the bands we are coming across only have one or two horns- like 1 sax or 1 trumpet.

It was a really random question.

Hmmm where is the wedding and how many guests? Be careful not to overdo it. Some bands will not recommend extra horns depending on your venue and # of guests...but I guess in the end you can get whatever you want!

We are using Code Bleu and hae a sax and trumpet. Also I saw a band play at Port Jazz...they had 2 trumpets and 1 sax. I think it was a bit to much but that was my personal opinion. I am sorry that I do not remember the name of them!!!!!!! I will try and look them up.

I am really no expert on a true horn section but I feel like Times Square Orchestra might have had 3. They were great! I actually LOVED their horn section - and there were 3 guys so I'm assuming maybe it was what you're looking for. With most bands you can add more musicians if you want.

Might want to try something like NYC Swing or a band like that. I've never heard them myself but i've heard great things and I feel like they would have a big horn section.

we used The Projekt for our wedding and had 3 horns. You can hire them with more I beleive.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions and FM about bands. So helpful! I've been so busy i haven't been able to FM everyone back.

But thanks for the advice! I'm going to check out a few of those bands!
