Bands

Who are you using and how much? Oh yeah, and why?

We are using Soul Revival. We saw them at a friends wedding last summer and loved them. Besides that they sound great, FH and I really liked that they were young and so nice when we met with them. We are paying around $4000. Their website is www.soulrevivalband.com and they are a vendor on here too.

Hi, there are a lot of showcases coming up in the next few weeks. I know that Skyline has a few coming up for Code Bleu, Skyline, and Rhapsody. There is also Franklin Wayne showcases coming up for Timepiece, Daybreak's Night, etc., and Renegade is having a showcase on oct 11. Also check out Times Square Orchestra. We were between Timepiece and Renegade and finally went with Renegade. They will all gladly send you dvd's and check their websites. The price of the bands differ depending on what time of day it is.

we had Times Square Orchestra at our wedding about a year ago and people are still talking about the band.. they were the best vendor we used and they were wonderful to work with.

I wish we could be a guest at a wedding with them

I do not disclose prices I paid, but check them out for yourself - they are truly amazing and sound EXACTLY like whatever musician they are playing.

We're using Hot Pursuit. They are a nine piece band - I was sold on the four singers, two male, two female. The musicians sound excellent, as well.

We had Niteflight. We saw around 10 bands and it was by far the hardest choice. When we saw them they just clicked. It was a big band (which we knew we wanted), they played all of our favs and had great personality. One of the best things was that they were not that expensive. Definitely a plus! They were also a pleasure to deal with.

I'm having Niteflight. I saw them play again last weekend (about the 5th or 6th time, I think). I know we will be so incredibly happy with them.

I'm amazed that anyone who sees and hears them would even consider ANY another band. Not that I want to insult anyone else's decisions, but I do think that way!!!

I am using Voices they used to be part of the Caleps(they are an italian american band) I am paying 7300.00 for them.

We are using PARIS, they are about 7,000. We checked out about 4 bands, and we booked PARIS are soon as we heard them!!

We are using Renegade & have heard nothing but great things about them from many people. They are costing us about $6200 but we aren't having them for our cocktail hour just for the reception. We met with Dave the band leader & he is great...is so enthusiastic about his job & just loves what he does. they are amazing.

we are using The Projekt & paying about $4800...We saw a couple of bands but we were blown away with The Projekt's excitement & voices!

We were just at a wedding that Niteflight played at, and I thought they were really good. However, both my DH and I thought that they took a lot of breaks. It seemed they played 15 minutes of music and took a break. Now, I don't know if they were following with what the hall was telling them, but I know that if we were the B&G we would have been upset at how many breaks they took.

We used Full House and loved them. To this day, we still get compliments on them.
