My FH and I went to see a band last night that we loved and will hopefully book for our wedding. Are there any specifc questions that we should ask them before we move forward? (besides the obvious, how much? ) Thanks!!!

If you liked what you saw, DEFINITELY make sure when you sign the contract that the names of every single person you saw are on there. Sometimes they'll try to sub in people you didn't actually see, OR they'll tell you that someone you saw costs 'extra.'

Will they play continuous music through the reception? If so, how - will there always be live band members on stage or will all break together and they provide CD coverage?
Will they learn a new song to perform at your wedding? If so, how much notice and what do they need to do that? Will they charge for this? (They shouldn't)
Will they be able to provide the RH proof of their insurance coverage?
Will they play any of the special dance songs on CD if you ask them to (as opposed to live)?

Excellent point!
Also, be sure to ask them what their 'replacement policy' is if someone were to be ill or have an emergency the day of the wedding.
