I've always wanted a band but I think it might be too much money, can anyone give me any pricing information on bands? I just want to know for sure before I rule them out.

paradise alley, who i found on this website i think, quoted me 4500 in an email...not too bad for a band, and they sound pretty good...i decided i wanted a DJ though

From what I have gathered, you can expect to pay around $1,000 per person in the band....So a 7 person band should run around $6,000-$7,000

We only looked at one, loved them, the mystic..but you can figure about $1000 per band member...they are 8 person band, but really good

Do some research you can get an 8-10 piece band for $5,500-$6,500 and that should include cocktail hour. Anything more than that does not make them a better band. If you book a band with an entertainment agency you will pay more.

Yes, I hear bands can be pricey. If you decide on a band, you need to need a really good band. We decided that we were more of DJ type people. Good luck with your search.

We really wanted a band as well but are going to have to go with a dj for price reasons. Bands start at about $6,500. Good Luck!

i saw some bands in the $5K range and others in the $10K range. we went with Code Bleu (booked in january 2010) and they were $6600 including CH but im sure price has gone up since then since it's almost 2 years ago
we also saw Full House and Body Heat
My cousin had Timepiece at his wedding but they were much more expensive (more in the $9-10K range)
