Bands that play various types of rock?

My FH listens to mostly Phish, the Grateful Dead, etc. I like that music, but I don't want JUST jam band music - I want some slow songs, some love songs, some disco .... I do want the music to reflect him and me, and I do want it to be different.

Does anyone have any ideas? We saw the band Reckoning on Friday night and loved them, but I am not sure they could play enough variety. (My other option, though, is to just have an iPod of the songs they can't play so that we can pepper them in with their usual routine.)

FH and I LOVE the Dead and Phish (thus my obscure Phish name avatar 'Tela') We hired Soul Revival for our wedding and they are playing maybe 5 or 6 Dead and Phish songs for us (more towards the end of the evening). We really wanted a band that would sound awesome playing this BUT it was super important to us that our guests enjoy the music too. So, they are playing lots of other music too, Funk, Disco, 80's, etc. FH and I love the band, I am most excited about them. Their website is:
