For past brides that had bands....did you tip them?
Our band works for themselves so they will be getting the money we pay them for their services.
Do we need to tip them on top of that?
FH and I are going back & forth about it.

my DH was in a band that played weddings and worked for themselves (bookings directly through them)...the majority of the time they got tipped, the amount varied a lot though.

We tipped about 5% of the total cost to be split among the members. They deserved it!!

Our band manages themselves and we still tipped each band member.

we were going to tip them but they messed up alot of things and didn't play our last song so they didn't get the tip
