How much do wedding bands typically run? FH and I are thinking of one that we saw that we really liked!

im assuming ur talking about music and not rings......most are around 7000-8000. we arent doing a 'traditional' wedding band (peat moss) and only paying 5.....

you will also need to feed the band and give them a tips ... nto sure if that'll affect your budget but it's something to think about

we have code bleu and they charge $6600 for a 4-hour affair plus guitar or keyboard for cocktail hour. We are doing a 5 hour affair (extra hour for VH) and i got them to do that for $7000 (they wanted $7500).

Sorry to say but reading this just made me feel soo much better about the 1750 I am spending on a DJ with Percussionist. Saving soo much money!

we are using Voices and they were $7,600 for 4 hours and then we needed the extra hour for the VH which was another $800 grand total of $8,300.00

I'm paying 10K, but this for sting quartet for the CH and ceremony plus a 15 piece band for the entire wedding reception plus lighting plus a violin show during the reception. I'm SUPPPPPPER exicted!~

i'm not really sure since i don't actually have a band, but i think people are giving about $25 per person (i could be wrong though)

We used The Zoo. There where 5 band members plus a DJ, tech guy & a road guy. They where $5,500. We gave them a $300 so that came out to about $37 per person. They where great!! & obviously super affordable. My only issue was that we had to feed 8 people, which cost up near $1,000 at our RH. Although we did have some no shows at the end so I think some of them where included in our final count.

in my search, found them to run anywhere from 800 - 1000 per musician.

We went to a show case at the Watermill and the band that played there was pretty good but they were asking for a little over 7

We used Soul Revival for our wedding and they were awesome!! I believe that we paid $800 for each musician, which I found was average or slightly below average compared to other bands. I highly recommend them, they made our reception!!!!

I'm using Infinity, a Franklin Wayne band. They are just under $5,000.00 for a six piece band to play for 5 hours (1 hr cocktail, 4 hr reception).
They are a newer band and were just recently added to the website: Franklin Wayne Music.
