bands/flowers and prices?

i have no idea what anything costs as i haven''t really began my research - any info would really help me. i am looking for a pianist & violinist for the cocktail hr/ceremony and a band for the reception - no more than 7 pc. For flowers, i need lots of them, but cannot afford to do all roses or the exotic flowers (my ideal) - any suggestions ?

there are tons of vendors out there for you to look at.
i would suggest creating a budget first witht he amount that you would ideally like to spend on each vendor. then look around and see aht is out there for your price range. you might be surprised at how accurate you can be without ever looking!
but make sure that when you see a vendor, you dont' look at just the price, but the quality of the work and the feelings you get from the person. you need to be comfortable with each of your vendors.
weddings are expensive, no matter how little you spend on certain vendors...and its' worth it sometimes to spend a little more, becuase in the long run, your memories are what you will have of your day.

that being said....
we're using Jack and Rose for flowers...
all roses, under $1000
We're using Code Bleu for our band (part of Skyline Orchestras) and they're about $5000 i believe

Good luck!

Franklin Wayne bands are great and they have some I believe that are about 7 people and their prices are not too bad, in the 5,000s I believe.

Here's my budget vendor webpage:

Budget Vendors

These people don't charge typical wedding prices, but I think they all do should do good work. I also have some musicians on there, but no band.

My flowers are by Donald Hedgecock, picture of his work at the top of the page - I'm paying $870 for a BP of 20 and 12 tables.
